A newly rebuilt schedule, new portal scheduling views, templates for messages, exclude weekends on cancellation policy, and more!

We rebuilt the schedule to enable a number of improvements, including a new mobile-friendly staff view, so you can now schedule on the fly, modify your availability, block out time, and more through your phone. Press on the schedule for a second (at least), and you can perform your action. The schedule will continue to get polished, same with the iPad view. If you haven't logged in with your phone, give it a try! Hats off to the development team for all of their hard work

There's a new view to offer your patients when they schedule. Most users love the default "list format" view, where patients are shown all of your appointments when they schedule, making it easy to pick and choose, but if you prefer a more traditional view where patients choose a date first, head over to the "online booking" settings page and edit the practice wide options to check it out and see if you like it better.

Multi-practitioner practices have a new "Any staff" option where patients get to choose a service first before the staff are shown.

Messages have templates and signatures available. Click on the envelope icon to add some handy templates and a custom signature.

The "PDF Queue" where we allow you to "batch" anything from a patient chart into a single PDF has gotten a boost in performance. You can now create a single PDF with years worth of patient chart data, even hundreds of pages.

Do you want to exclude Saturday and/or Sunday from your cancellation policy? We had some users request this. From the "Policies" settings page, you can check off the weekend days to NOT include them when calculating time when patients are canceling within your cancellation policy.

Import appointments! From the "Import data" settings page, navigate to that tab, and copy and paste your data into the spreadsheet. Works for both past and future appointments!

Some other noteworthy updates

  • Tags and the internal reference notes. Are you using them!? Configure tags in the settings, and now you can show them when scheduling a patient or accepting payment. Click on the patient name to edit them at any time.

  • Export payments as a PDF.

  • Want to have patient notifications turned on by default for new patients? If so, change the "default patient notification status" in the "patient notifications" settings page.

  • Make the colors of your schedule "pop" by editing them from the Schedule settings (the "gear icon"). It will take a few minutes to show.

  • The Waiting List notifications have a clearer language to let patients know they're on the Waiting List, and not booked for a new appointment.

  • Insurance company, office phone and address now are not required to simplify creation.

  • If you voided a service from an invoice, you can add it back to the same visit.
